If there is a mistake on my part, changes will be made free of charge! Major or excessive changes may have an extra cost.
Accordingly, major changes cannot be made to a previously approved aspect of the piece (ie: you can’t suddenly change the pose if we’re already in the coloring stage). Minor changes and edits can be made in each stage, and I will move onto the next stage when you are happy with the current one. I will send you WIP updates of the process (rough sketch, line art, flat color, etc). (Side note: Unfortunately I’ve had people run off with my sketches without paying, so if you’re commissioning a simple sketch I ask that the money is sent to me upfront). If you’re commissioning a colored piece I will send you a rough sketch before hand to make sure you’re happy with the posing/composition, and as soon as I receive the payment I will start the line art/coloring process.
This helps prevent an artist working hard on a piece only to have a customer back out last minute. Ok, so here’s how the payment process works! Like most other commission artists I will ask that the money reaches my PayPal after we’ve talked about your commission (characters, style, posing, pricing, etc) and before I officially start the piece.
